Cash Calendars - an additional $100 will be added to everyone’s registration fees to pay for our yearly cash calendar fundraiser. Players are required to sell 5 cash calendars at $20 each. If you have more than 2 players registered in Nanton Minor Hockey, you are not required to sell more than 2 sets of cash calendars. Calendars will be handed out by the team managers at the beginning of the season and tabs will be collected by November 15th. Upon selling the calendars, please ensure to keep the money as the calendars were prepaid at registration. During registration there will be an option for a 3rd or 4th player discount. Ensure that you check this box when it appears so that you don’t get charged for additional calendars.
Tryouts – Registration must still be completed if you have a player trying out for AA or AAA. Please be sure to select the Pay Offline button on the Payment screen and select one of the payment options. If this option is not selected your credit card may be charged. NMH would like to avoid having to complete any potential refunds to credit cards. It is your responsibility to notify the registrar if your player makes the AA/AAA team so registration can be officially cancelled.
Respect in Sport - Hockey Alberta has mandated certification every 3 years. For those not yet certified or expired certification there is a $12 cost to you, please note only one parent is required to complete the certification. Those individuals who have volunteered to coach are required to complete the Respect in Sport Leader Certification. If you have the Respect in Sport Leader Certification, your family is not exempt from completing the Respect in Sport Parent Certification. No player is allowed to participate in on ice activities without a parent completing this certification.

Coaching – Mandatory criminal record checks must be completed by all coaching staff and must be completed before October 1, 2024. Send an email to Nanton Minor Hockey’s Secretary, for the authorization letter to be given to the RCMP upon your criminal record check request. Once your check is completed, scan and email a copy of the check back to the secretary.
